Common Questions
Do I need to know exactly what I want before I get in touch?
Not at all, and most people do not. Plenty of our conversations start with someone saying their website is not working for them but they are not sure why. That is a perfectly good place to begin. Peter will ask the right questions and help you work out what you actually need, which is sometimes less than you expected.
Do you charge for the first conversation?
No. The first conversation is free, whether that is a phone call, a Zoom discovery call or a meeting at your premises. There is no obligation and no pressure at the end of it. If we are not the right fit for what you need, we will say so and point you in a better direction.
How quickly will I hear back?
Within 24 hours during the working week, and usually much sooner than that. Enquiries that come in over a weekend or a bank holiday get a reply on the next working day. If something is urgent and you are already a client, ring the mobile rather than emailing.
Can we meet in person?
Yes, and we are happy to come to you. We are based in Cullompton in Mid Devon and cover the whole county, so meetings usually happen at your premises or somewhere local that works for both of us. For some projects it genuinely helps to see the business in person, particularly if photography or a site walkthrough is involved.
Do you work with businesses outside Devon?
Yes. Devon and the South West are home and where most of our clients are, but we work with businesses anywhere in the UK. Plenty of projects run entirely over email and video calls without anyone needing to travel. If you are further afield and like what you have read, get in touch.
Who will I actually be speaking to?
Peter, in almost every case. Mindy handles some of the phones and the social side of things, but every project and every technical conversation is Peter directly. There are no account managers and nothing gets passed to a subcontractor. When you ring, you get the person who will actually be doing the work.
