We are a small, family-run business based in Cullompton, working with Devon businesses to build websites, mobile apps and digital tools that actually do the job.
Peter steers every project, Mindy keeps everything organised and runs the social channels, and Coco the dog keeps morale up and reminds everyone to take breaks. That is the whole team. When you ring us, one of us answers. When you have a question, one of us replies. When something needs fixing, the same person who built it sorts it out.
It is small on purpose.

Mindy keeps MidDevon Digital running. Social channels, client onboarding, scheduling and the hundred small things that make a small business actually work. Outside the office she is a fan of Finnish rock bands, long country walks with Coco, and re-watching The Big Bang Theory more times than she would care to admit.

A nine-year-old Romanian rescue, mixed breed, and the calmest member of the team. She turns up every day, naps strategically, and reminds the humans that nothing is ever quite as urgent as it feels. Unofficial chief of morale.
THE LONG VERSION
From a ZX Spectrum
to MidDevon Digital
Peter has been building things on computers since a ZX Spectrum, a few stubborn BASIC programs and a lot of patience. He built his first website in 1998 and never really stopped.
What makes the difference now is what happened in between: a long career in retail management, including five years running the operations of a Devon commercial cleaning company. That is where he learned what a business actually needs from its website, rather than what looks impressive in a portfolio.
1980s
A ZX Spectrum, some stubborn BASIC and the beginnings of a lifelong habit.
1998
Built his first website. Kept building them as a hobby for the next two decades.
2000s
A career in retail management, learning how small businesses actually run day to day.

General manager of a Devon
commercial contract cleaning company, working with local businesses, regional firms, national retailers, charities, schools and colleges.
Same period
Built a bespoke web application to run that company's scheduling, job management and client reporting. The first proper sign this should be the day job.

Who runs MidDevon Digital?
Peter Teal founded MidDevon Digital in 2025 and handles every client project personally, from the first conversation through design and development to launch and ongoing support. Mindy Teal runs operations, client onboarding and the social channels. It is a family business with no other staff, no account managers and no subcontractors.
Where is MidDevon Digital based?
We are based in Cullompton in Mid Devon, and work with businesses across Devon, Somerset and the wider South West. Our registered address is 70 Shortlands Road, Cullompton, Devon EX15 1HL. We work from a home office, so client meetings usually happen at your premises or somewhere local that suits.
How long has MidDevon Digital been trading?
MidDevon Digital Limited was founded in 2025 and is registered in England and Wales, company number 16536683. Peter has been building websites since 1998 though, so the business is newer than the experience behind it.
Do you outsource any of your work?
No. Every website, app and piece of SEO work is built by Peter directly. Nothing is offshored, nothing is handed to a freelancer, and nothing is passed to a junior. It is the main reason we stay small, and it is what most of our clients say they value.

Yes. We are Cyber Essentials certified through Regola Digital Consulting, an NCSC-approved certification body. We are members of the Federation of Small Businesses and the Devon Chamber of Commerce. Why choose a small agency over a larger one?
Larger agencies have more people, which genuinely helps on big complex projects. For a small business though, it often means your work sits with whoever is available rather than whoever quoted it, and you speak to an account manager rather than the person doing the building.
